So our offense is just decent, but much more proficient than LSU. So how will you score enough points? Our defense is far more than decent and could very well dominate t-bob and the gang.

Your defense gave up almost 600 yards against Auburn and I feared they were light in the pants and were going to struggle against a big, physical line as Auburn had. They struggled getting a big back down.

So we will bring our heisman winner and our back up, Trent Richardson who is leading the team with over 180 all purpose yards per game and Julio, fresh off a 12 catch over 200 yard performance in this "just decent offense."

Your defense is good but not great (like last year). It can be had at times. We'll certainly get our shots, whether we take advantage of them is another question.

I could see us getting held to 6 points or less if we play like we did vs Auburn.

South Carolina proved that with Lattimore and their running attack. If Crowton can get his head out of his ass, i think we have a great shot at beating Alabama. Bama's offense has some serious weapons, 2 first round picks at tailback, and a first rounder at the receiver position, and Maze is playing his arse off this year also.

Like I said earlier, the 1 thing that scares the crap out of me, and something I think that can be used to expose LSU's defense, is the screen game. T Rich getting the ball after we get pressure is frightening. Ingram out of the wildcat doesn't scare me, Julio doesn't scare me as long as Peterson is locking him down, and I actually think Mo could shut him down also.

The question is going to be, can our offense move the ball in the air, and not commit stupid penalties. We will be able to run north and south, and maybe on the edge with Shep, but we are going to have to be able to throw the ball, for at least a couple hundred yards.

Just different. With good teams, it's wise to keep checking back for progress reports. Did I mention, Bama's defense is leading the nation in interceptions?

This is going to be key. Mo can run with him, but can he match his physicality. I've seen a bunch of short throws/screens to Julio turn into big gains because he manhandles the defensive back. PP can match up to Julio in those situations. I'm not sure Mo can. I think PP needs to cover Julio at all times.

I think "decent" (good, not spectacular) is a good fit, and certainly not a knock. Sure, y'all beat up on the likes of San Jose St. & Co., but have been kept relatively modest vs SC & Ole Miss, and actually scored fewer pts vs UF than we did.

However, "decent" still puts you light years ahead of our offense.

Past experiences agree with this. As in last yr where the only time he was a factor was when PP went out with cramps for a couple of plays, and when the refs, well we all know how that play went.

Lattimore is unique but the passing game for SC and our overall energy was pitiful. Just a trap game. Players not schemes will be the difference. It's hard to reinvent the wheel this late in the season.

Good shout out for Maze, he is getting dangerous on punt returns and throwing underneath. LSU has a solid defense, great special teams, not sure if that works against Bama if you get the whole package. Much like last year, we're still looking for that elusive, great team for 4 quarters game.

Looking for a good definition of "decent."
