PP has only had to come out twice this year that I know of, both of which after HUGE returns. If our O can just sustain drives, I dont look for PP to come out much. IMO, LSU plays best in Man, esp with PP. If he is out for a few plays, I would expect Julio to be doubled, I HOPE. Your right Julio's catch last year was a difference maker just as much as other plays that didnt go LSU's way. Always a good game. Looking forward to the slug fest.... LSU on top tho bud!!!! :LSU231:
Play calling has been better at times, however, with the 2 QB system, we seem to forget about Ridley when J Lee is in.... I cant stand that part of the Lee O.
This is the time and place to re post this one... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBMasEG1BS8&feature=related]YouTube - Outrage Down on the Bayou[/ame]
That was sorta my point. I may have responded a bit harsh for that particular post, but there have so many that sound as though they have given up for the rest of the season I just made the statement out of frustration. For that I apologize.
Seriously guys, is that the Bama emblem you want to represent the eye of the tiger thing? I'm starting to envision Rod Serling singing "For what it's worth."
LOL......are you kidding me?? No one else picked up on this?? Alabamas O-line is as good as Auburns???? lol....not even close!! I like the match up of our defense versus bamas offense, I like the match up of our special teams versus bamas, but i HATE the match up of our offense verses bamas defense!! Thats where they game will be decided...like thats a new revolation right?? If our ennimic offense and sorry gary crowton can figure out how to get to 21 points we may actually win the game, but our defense HAS to have time to rest, we cant keep having all of those 3 and outs!!!!:milesmic:
Your offense is decent. Much more proficient than ours. But your offense vs our defense, I think we have the upper hand at home. If our offense or special teams doesn't help you out, I don't see you scoring more than 17 points on us.
I actually think we would do even better on a neutral field. Our fans will play a very instrumental part in how the Tigers perform. Cheer their lungs out and support the team to the bitter end, we win; boo birds come out and start to show their discontent with GC and CLM, and we lose.
i think LSU needs turnovers to be in this game. the team will have no problem getting up for it, they'll feed off the fans; but until our offense proves to move we'll need special teams TD's and short fields. helton may play a big role again if he can keep punting that way against alabama based teams. if this game is played ten times in tiger stadium LSU probably wins two of them.
