I thought it was one of the most boring snooze fests Ive ever seen, at least in the first half. I switched to the Okie-Mizzu game which turned out to be a very exciting game. I also thought it was lame when I read the starters were still in the game late throwing bombs to Jones in order to get him a record.
OK, but don't expect Bama to be struggling in the same manner as last season's swoon. Julio is going to demand a safety over the top. The O line is every bit as good as Auburns. Our defense is fast growing up and I believe are getting kind of "ball hawkish." The excitement for this contest will be as high as anything we have seen this year. Could be low scoring but single digit, no, no.
Tennessee with the lead in a back and forth contest, where the hitting was putting people's lights out and that's the half that bored you. Good you switched. AJ McCarron threw the last bomb and very well, I might add.
Peterson can shut down Julio by himself, again. He can live on an Island. All other is about the same.
It really doesn't matter who you guys have on the field (except shaun alexander) it's always a dog fight. I think Peterson will neutralize Julio. To be honest the 1 guy that worries me on Bama's offense is Richardson in the screen game.
I believe Chavis might give it a go. But, then again, they may watch tape of the Tennessee game. Last season going into the LSU game, G-Mac couldn't get the ball to the line of scrimmage and was mired in a 3 game slump. Julio could have sued for non support. Julio will get his, the same as he got his, against Peterson his freshman campaign, if Chavis keeps PP on that island.
No Peterson will "get his" if Mcelroy passes it to him. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BngI6yAtTLE]YouTube - Patrick Peterson vs alabama[/ame]
