That's Cameron being smart. Harris is too green to read defenses and make his own calls and checks. They run the no-huddle but it is not a hurry-up offense. They get to the line quickly and it gives Cameron time to read the defense from the press box and send in an alternate play. It allows us to control the clock, slow down the game, and it takes the crowd out of it a bit.
Good point, red. I was just concerned about getting the call in on time & everyone on the offense being on the same page. It's one thing to do it that way against cupcake state; it's something else entirely to do it in the face of 80k+ screaming fans.
Too bad we can't put a helmet on each of them and let them settle it. I'd like our chances a lot better.
Miles was stubborn with the QB issue, he is completely stupid on this one. I can't remember worse MLB play than when Welter plays........he is a Tiger, but he is not a MLB.
