I agree with you, I've never been a Randall basher.... All I said is he got out played by a freshman in the OSU game. Yes, I thought maybe JR was the one and he still might be who knows. I do like the 2 QB system til Nick finds his guy at QB but it might've been a mistake taking him out when he was hot.
Sourdough, I understand your comments about the missed tackles but these two--especially Carnell---are pretty damned good. In other words, some of these broken tackles against #23 would be takedowns against other, lesser RBs. Let's give the AU backfield the credit it deserves.
BTW, reasons one million and one millon and one to love the Internet---I get to chat real time with other LSU fans during the game and I get to listen to Jim Hawthorne via the Internet stream, too. Cool. :thumb:
I understand but the point I was trying to make is this is pretty much the same defense as last year and this didn't happen then. Having said that this team is this years team and last year is over. Its just funny how they couldn't do this last year against some of the same guys. Then again, Maybe AU has improved from last year! :thumb:
There must be some serious wind from left to right on the TV because every kickoff has gone atleast 5 yards deep in the that endzone. And remember, most of our passing has come going right to left, so llook for us to use it in the 4th quarter.
We really miss either Skyler or Shyrone returning punts. Right now, I'm just happy if we can catch the ball. This makes a large difference in field position.
