JV looks like he's hesitating before he hits the hole.

Prude is going to break one in an up coming game. He can't miss that many in a row.

This is the best defense in the country for one simple reason: No team can do anything on 3rd down because by the time the QB has the ball Laron, Lionel, or Marcus is already in his face. I'd like to see us start pounding the ball with JV right behind Big Ben. Also, can we go down the field just once with Xavier? Ya know, just to make me happy. But, good first half.

You guys are being too hard on Prude, that ball wasn't catchable.

Poor tackling and no blocking are the only reasons why Auburn is still in the game. If our two lines step up in the 2nd half we can blow this thing open.

He was one step behind an INT, not his fault...

That is all we did against Oregon State and we had zero success doing it. I can think of a few toss plays today that went for nothing. The strength of the running game is right behind Ben.

    Allright.

    A few observations:

--Please, please get back to the run (and, hey, why dont'cha use that Broussard kid a little bit more? I hear he's kinda good).

--Damn, seriously...the LSU defense is good. Real good. All those crazy formations, Cadillac and Ronnie running hard, Campbell actually being pretty accurate...and they *still* only have 3 pts.

--Ryan Gaudet misses a 19.5 yd extra point. Chris Jackson nails a 43 yd FG. Any questions?

All in all, LSU *needs* to run, run and run some more for many reason, not the least of which to re-establish the play action plays, run some clock and to give the defense a bit of a breather. An offense that goes 3 and out repeatedly and puts a defense on the field repeatedly against a good, run-oriented offense is flirting with disaster.

The TV announcer must be watching a different game. Auburn defense hasn't improved in this game at all. Poor passes are what ended those last LSU drives.
