i wasnt really impressed with txam. i mean, they didnt seem like a #6 (thats pretty high). their euro is a great college player though. then, i realized the game was close-ish with 10 to go and jones and law had done squat. then, they turned up the defensive pressure and also started passing real well. maybe they are a great team and lsu just shut down jones and law.
Well law and jones are there guys and they didnt do anything all game....GT is slowly becoming a mvp for this team with all the things he can do on defense.
was real worried bout the game without lazare, because rolle is such a wuss and txam have many solid post players. BUT, we killed them on the boards. credit goes to tmitch with 9. worry bout his pro prospects though---needs to be able to get more than junk points. did you hear what the commentators said bout GT? 6 turnovers all year!!! thats in 6 games. dude plays about 40 min a game with most at point. just amazing. tack taught him well.
I wish I was able to go, freaking school getting in the way of this whole LSU stuff. I really want to go to Houston this weekend, but finals are next week and the game is Sunday night at 7. Tix are cheap tho- www.toyotacenter.com
Living in texas, i have been able to watch jones and law a lot. This was an off night for them. A big part was the tiger D. BUT, those two typically do much better than that. A&M didnt look like a top ten team tonight but I might have a different opinion if their top two players were on their game. They play UCLA this saturday - then we will see how good of a win it was for LSU.
crowd was great tonight - mostly b/c there was about 400 Aggie fans there. I was actually excited at the beginning of the game b/c of the atmosphere. Of course, late in the game the student section and their fans got in a little battle. Nice to hear Tiger Bait again in the Deaf Dome!
