1. I think if UH loses this week it can kiss a BCS game good bye. I don't believe that a BCS bowl would invite 2 teams from the same conference. I could be wrong about that tho. As strange as this season has been.

    BHD
  2. the BCS invites more than one team from a conference thanks to at-large bids
  3. Like when?
  4. The most that can play in BCS games from a conference is 2.

    (EDIT)
Oh, are yall talking about at-large, I'm not sure about that. Someone from the SEC gets an automatic bid anyway.
  5. And some conferences can only have one.
  6. Do you realize how awesome it would be if UGA played us in the Sugar Bowl?

That would mean by the end of the 2007 regular and post-season, we would have played every single team in the SEC except Vandy.

    That's a hell of a schedule.
  7. I think they CAN invite 2 teams from one conference to the same Bowl game, just don't think they ever WILL.
  8. I wasn't qualifying anything and surely not talking about that; simply, no more than TWO in BCS bowls. :thumb:

Some conferences are limited to only one team though: Conference USA, MAC, MW, Sun Belt, and the WAC.
  9. LSU v. UGA...Don't see that happening...Some other Bowl will pick UGA before having to take on Hawaii.
  10. thought about it more.

ohio st v usc in rose
orange passes on uga because they dont want rematch with vatech
fiesta would take uga but perhaps not if hawaii was out of the picture and, say AzSt was in.

i think the biggest problem with a lsu/uga sugar matchup is the weak tv draw

im still holding out for lsu/usc sugar.
