Besides Oklahoma of course......I want Florida State

I have absolutely despised Florida St. the last 8 years of my life.......

I don't care if you give me a hard time [and I really am okay].

Anyone getting upset on an anonymous forum has serious problems. This is all in fun for me.

65 to 13, huh? I'll take Texas and the 52 points.

This is the game I LEAST would like to see.

Texas absolutely does not deserve a BCS bowl bid. In fact, I propose the Texas Rule...
Any team that loses by 50 in a season shall automatically be denied the privelage to play in a BCS bowl game.

I think the odds of playing Texas are better than the odds of NOT playing Texas.

Reason(s) I wouldn't mind playing Texas in a BCS game:
    1. Gives us a chance at redemption from last year's Cotton Bowl loss. :cuss:

    2. Gives us some credibility with the national media since Texas is a "media darling"

Reason(s) I DON'T want to play Texas in a BCS game:

    1. Playing Michigan (which might be the first meeting against the Wolverines) in the Rose Bowl is more appealling--Considering LSU has never played in the Rose Bowl

    2. I think a victory over Michigan will mean more this year than a win over Texas would

    3. Rematches in bowl games in back-2-back seasons kinda stinks

Right now, I guess I've got "both feet on the fence"--but I'm beginning to lean towards not wanting to face Texas because I want to see LSU in the Rose Bowl

    uscpuke,
Perhaps, but the BCS system [yes, it is a ridiculous system, but it is the best we have at the present time] disagrees with you. We will get a BCS bid.

Texas will not get into a BCS bowl game if Oklahoma loses the Big XII Championship game this Saturday.

In other words, as dietcoke said, Texas will get a BCS bid.

    :)

This is the match up I would not want to see. Texas has two losses (getting hammered by Ark), and did not win it's conference. If we beat Georgia, and get screwed out of the Sugar, the only team out there worth playing (and the only other bowl worth going to) would be Michigan in the Rose.

Sugar or Rose, anything else would be a let down. Now, I am biased since I am a Tiger grad living in LA (with a chance to attend both the Sugar and the Rose).

I never said Texas would not get a BCS bid, they absolutely will (unless K State wins) b/c of money, plain and simple.
That still does not mean that they deserve it.
