While I'm waiting for my wife to review your message do you prepare green chile as a sauce, or a chili with hamburger meat or pork, or both?
I don't put hamburger meat in it. Sometimes I cut up some pork chops and cook that in there, but I usually do it as a sauce. I also sometimes dice up a tomato and put it in.
She read the way you cook your chile. She no longer makes green chile sauce. She found a canned product she likes just as well as the sauce she prepares. As far as the chili, like I said earlier, she uses hamburger or pork or sometimes a combination of both. She also doesn't use broth. She uses a combination of beer & water. Otherwise it's pretty much the same remaining ingredients as yours.
Just got back from the NM game. Wow. Second game we've been to. This time we drove to the game ourselves (last year when our daughter was recruited we walked from the AirBnB across the street) and driving is no freaking fun. I found out first hand what "contraflow" is, shorthand for "You ain't going nowhere for a long time and if you turn the wrong way getting out and are hungry you will starve to death and get back very late and you and your wife will fight the entire time in the car because it's all your fault.." I am legit scared now for the 'Bama game ; ) We do have a parking space, but think we'll just hang a few hours after before attempting to drive. I hear using an Uber is no great solution either.
