We are good enough and well coached enough to beat every one except Ga and Bama but all except Rice and Ark can also beat us. 7-5, 8-4, 9-3 at best 10-2 would be phenomenal.

I agree with this. But if Rice beats us, I might go find my pitch fork.

Dont agree at all. As I said in a post before when 2 teams are pretty much equal mistakes, penalties and turnovers decide the fate. We lost that battle big time.

7-5 would be a disappointment. Great coaches find ways to win. Good coaches don’t last in the SEC. LSU should aspire to more than good, and that includes this year. Everyone else has their caveats too. We aren’t devoid of talent.

O has shown himself to be an improvement over Miles’ lean years, it’s the pinnacle years he hasn’t quite proven yet.

I agree. A 7 win season after a 5-0 start and his seat heats up. Let’s be honest (and this is a narrative pushed by the pundits) but Coach O’s seat warmer is already on speed dial (has been since day 1).

If he goes 7-5 he will have to follow that up with a damn strong year in 2019 if he plans on sticking around for the future. The SEC is only getting stronger around us.

This is why there is a word in the dictionary called "opinion" we all have them. Also who said I was aspiring to just good? No we are not devoid of talent but neither is Fla, Ga, Bama, A&M, Aub, Kentucky or Miss St. The SEC is also not devoid of excellent coaches either. We are still in elite territory being a 1 loss SEC West team. We are right behind Bama in the West. Once again we lost yesterday because we made way too many mistakes and we got beat on the OL, period. We took the lead with 9 minutes left in the game D couldn't clise it out.
