So that Tiger Stadium can be expanded again, of course! :)

(There is room to add in a lot more seats, if they would wrap around the end-zones and connect the two upper decks.)

I hate watching some of these blow outs as well, but very necessary for every reason mentioned above..agreed

    That would be amazing!
..and people think it is loud now???
with the endzones closed, it would be UNBEARABLE to opponets!!!!

Along with giving us possibly the largest on campus stadium in the nation.:thumb:

Do a Search for "stadium expansion" and about previous ten threads on the topic may be of interest to you. Let's not derail this one.

    Tsk, tsk, tsk...

After all the hating on ND's schedule against the service academies and all those jokes about the Commander's Cup, what do we discover about LSU's schedule? Now, how is this really different than what ND does? At least, ND is honoring decades old rivalries and not scheduling creampuffs just for the sake of a blowout. ND has a few easier teams with the service acadamies, but also plays powerhouses like Michigan, Penn State, USC, etc... And, LSU has a few easy teams like North Texas, Troy State, Tulane as well as playing tough teams in the SEC. Blah, blah, blah- the SEC is the toughest conference... But, like all conferences, the SEC has a few elite teams on the top, a few average teams in the middle, and a few easy teams like Miss State on the bottom.

Penn State is going to kill ND, even with Joe Pa at RB. You should worry about your own teams schedule.

Is bitter really necessary during the season? :nope:

Something to note in the cupcake games the crowd usually disappears at halftime. That has to cut into concession sales. I wonder if they factor that in? Seems like they would want to keep butts in the seats and the Cokes flowing. Even if you had a home and away you could potentially make up the cash with more people for a longer period of time with closer games. That is what an upper tier opponent would bring. For these rent-a-wins the stadium is seldom full at gametime and flows like a sieve after 00:00 in the first half.

Surely there exists something between "nothing but cupcakes" and "loading up on OOC contenders." LSU fans would be content with one, JUST ONE, decent OOC game every year. Anyone who thinks that LSU has really been trying to do this is deluding themselves.

There you go again. Might as well explain to us why we should not be scheduling a game against the NFL. No one will have suggested it but you will have fun I'm sure.
