They changed the AP trophy?...the granddaddy of them all?

The Pac-1, Big 10, and Rose Bowl will have a cow if the AP changed tradition. Maybe the Rose Bowl will boycott the AP trophy now.

I know they won't bury it or burn it but I surely hope we don't give it equal exposure as the BCS crystals. The AP trophy is now just as worthless as the Heisman.

Our two BCS crystal Coaches Trophies will look impressive standing side by side in the LSU Sports Hall of Fame Museum. Is that where we keep them? Or do we keep them in the LSU Practice Facility? I know Ohio State keeps all their Heisman trophies on display in their Practice Facility.

That would be funny if our AP Trophy ended up where Billy Cannon's Heisman trophy is -- in the lobby of TJ Ribs restaurant. :)

Toss it in a pit, build an outhouse over it so those that care can share their opinion and those that don't can take a poloroid.

I can't believe anybody actually believed this story. It's a poor man's version of an Onion article.

That is a reference to OnePeat.com, an LSU fan site that raised $5,000 to erect a billboard (see pic below) near USC's campus and stadium (you can see the map of where the billboard was placed at http://onepeat.com/billboard.htm). They also raised $4,000 for a mobile billboard truck (see pic below) to spend five days circling ESPN's corporate headquarters in Bristol, CT. I think the whole thing made LSU look very classy and very secure about how great our program is.

I believe it was actually a Texas fan that started it and many Tigers supported it after its start.
