I enjoy the debate, to a certain extent. But I'm more concerned with US. The people we have hurt, Dorsey limping to the locker room in the first half a week ago, the effect the bit with Odom will have on the team's concentration, all bother me much more than speculation by some ESPN knuckleheads, especially when they sound like shills for some other teams or conferences. As a bunch of guys have mentioned, we have to take care of our STUFF, then everything else will fall into place.
A few weeks ago, a lot of us were saying we just wanted to be inthe top two; in fact, second was a better position than number one. It's a little strange now to see guys get so worked up over what amounts to next to nothing. If we are undefeated after the Florida game and we don't move up, then I'll get REAL concerned. Right now, I'm just enjoying the altitude. Everything looks real good from number two at this point.

I totally agree. It is way too early so try to pinpoint NC contenders. Hilarious.

I also think it would be hilarious if an undefeated Florida team was excluded from the NC game even though they won it all last season.

If it's too early to "Pinpoint" it's also too early to exclude too.....no??

    LOL. Yeah... guilty.

But I feel like criticizing the possible failure of the BCS is a lot more legit than saying, after week 3 the NC contenders are teams x, y, and z. One argument (mine) is supported by history. The other seems to ignore history - crazy things happen in college football and trying to predicting things based on 3 weeks of games is simply fluff.

That's the best I can try to wiggle from your damning charge of hypocrite.
