It's gonna be hard, we play in the SEC, not in the Puff-10...With that said, it's possible to become what you hate the most...The Red Sox turned into the Yankees, and even worse, Red Sox fans turned into Yankees fans.

Let somebody ELSE call LSU a dynasty in 2017 or so. Until then, I'm happy to just stay parked in the Top 10 and post 10/11 win seasons forever!

Historians bestow titles like dynasty. I'll happily read about that when I'm "wasting away in Margaritaville" after my second retirement...

Two national championships in the decade and NFL talent being produced more and more each year, yeah the Tigers are at the Top of College Football.

Im not going to waste time comparing this program to anyothers because quit frankly I could careless about those other programs, and I would rather spend my time enjoying the incredible success that LSU has enjoyed over the past several years.

I hate to be a wet blanket, but "not so fast, my friend"... We don't have the 2nd one yet. At this point, there is only Arkansas. Nothing else... Let's take it one game at a time like the banner up top says.

I agree though, LSU is surely elite in my book... I mean, we're basically an NFL factory. I love it.

Makers Mark is the only whiskey for me. :thumb: :thumb: I just bought 2 handles of it for tonight and tomorrow. (I come from a long line of drinkers, so that might not be enough).

Back to the liquor store on Friday.

No doubt!!! And the thing is that they're in denial about it...Just like Bama fans are in denial that Saban is not God.

Well, comparing the Sox to the Yankees is not that far off base. Both spend astronomical amounts in the name of winning (just the Sox have been better at it lately  ). Boston is still a ways behind the Yanks in the amount spent.

Sox fans are a completely different breed of people than Yanks fans. Yeah they're cocky, all fan bases enjoying success are. But where they differ is in the overall mindset. With a huge lead in the division, Sox fans are expecting injuries to happen and for the team to collapse. They're expecting to lose in the playoffs. They're expecting the Yanks to beat them in October. They cringe at the thought of having to face them again. They look at the World Series as a legit possibility, and hvae as good a chance of winning it as anyone else, but they constantly feel they're not gonna make it (even after winning 2 of the last 4).

Yankee fans don't look at the World Series as a possibility, but as their God given right. And anything less is a travesty and people should get run outta town. Even the American league MVP, and a HOF manager.
