The uniform Melvin Hill is wearing looks weird. I know it's a black and white pic, but I don't think I've ever seen this uniform combination. His pants appear to be purple.
Got me thinking about Oregon's worst football game. It was in the mid 70's when the Ducks were especially bad. Playing at home, Oregon was behind in the 4th quarter, but was driving down the field, a touchdown would, no doubt, win the game. The Ducks were on the 8 yard line, but time was running out, so our QB threw the ball out of bounds to stop the clock,.. on fourth down.
