You can be playing 4th graders, and speed is speed... :)

But yeah... I know... He did dominate the High School All Star game... but oh well...

Where did this info come from? I'm not buying some of it. Since when do Teddy Ginn and Reggie Bush only run 4.4's? I think its projected, and they guy is probably guessing most of the time.

You know this is wrong because AB should have a better 40 time than JV and JA.. maybe even SC... Saban always said he was actually the fastest.

At this stage of the year we're all hungry for anything related to football, but this list is full of suspect info. As StaceyO points out, they have guys listed out of position besides Chevis Jackson, include guys no longer on the team and missing at least one guy entirely (David Jones). There are some heights and weights I don't buy either. I wouldn't put much stock in the LSU or any other team's information.

I still appreciate getting the link.

I know RP is "your boy" and all, but I hate to break the news to you, Matt Flynn IS that fast.

I looked up his profile on Rivals.com and it's listed, plain as day, in black and white, Matt Flynn's 40-yard dash time is 4.53

And while I know you've seen RP run first-hand, I doubt you've seen Flynn step up and run a 40-yard dash first hand. Also, with the limited opportunities Flynn had last season, he never got a chance to tuck the ball in and run.

You can have someone that's faster in pads--which is not hard to believe AB to be over JV and Addai because Alley is obviously the stronger (meaning he is able to carry the extra weight from the equipment and not lose a step.)

Ever heard the phrase, "game speed"? No, it does not indicate that the player loafs and half-aA$$e$ it in practice by not running hard....It means that the player isn't slowed down once the extra pads are added.

Actually.. i mean that Saban said the AB had the best 40 time of the bunch... Rivals had them at AB: 4.5, JV: 4.48.. AB has definately lost some baby-fat and has gotten faster... JV seems to be about the same as he was his freshman year.

RP's time is not impressive for all the hype. certainly good enough if he knows how to use it

no one's mentioned that shyrone carey's time is listed as fastest.

who's henderson? by far the fastest LB we have

hope miles/jimbo uses TEs. we have two pretty fast ones.
