1. First of all, quit pasting smilies all over the screen

Second.....what kind of "waist" are we talking about here? Chris Farley or Faith Hill?

  2. This post is what is wrong with some fans.

You set yourself up for huge dissapointments by statements like 10-2 will not cut it.

How about just pulling for LSU in every game and hoping we give our best.

As long as we give 100% and play the best we can thats all i ask for. If LSU goes 0-12 i will still be an LSU fan. And yes i will be dissapointed but sometimes things happen beyond the teams control.

Injuries, weather, the way the ball bounces , referee's calls ( Ask Seattle ) , etc.

We play in the SEC and that is the best Football conference in America bar none. Look at the teams considered the top in recruiting and their are some SEC with just as much talent as LSU.

Like it or not some of the best Coach's in the country Coach in the SEC too.

There is nothing wrong with dreaming of 12-0 and hoping for it. But be realistic and understand in the SEC it is tough to do.

Whether your schedule is favorable or not.
  3. I want what you smoking
  4. What are you an English teacher or a paparazzi? How about Lara Flynn Boyle.

  5. 12-0 is possible, but at the same time you say anthing less than 12-0 is a big diappointment. Like the SEC is just a lousy conference. 11-1 will still be a great year. Give Les some breathing room man. Fla, Ten, Aub, UGA, Ala, all have some good programs, and while we can beat all of them, that dosnt mean its going to be a cake walk.
  6. Yo I know it's not going to be ez. But LSU has waaaaay more talent then any team in the SEC. I would be ok w/11-1.
  7. Check over the past few years' recruiting rankings again. LSU isn't that far above the pack.
  8. BS! That was the case two years ago and even last year, but no longer after our huge talent graduation.

Florida's recruiting this decade has now surpassed LSU and taken their reign atop the SEC yet again. GA is right there, too. Things have settled and the norm is the old "state versus the number of D-1 scholly signings per HS FB Player" ... where the talent is ... is back to FLA/GA/LSU ... in that order.

Miles had the talent to go all the way last year (as evidenced by Miami game).

LSU didn't have coaching to whip Krispy Kreme Phil or show up in the SECCG.
To get blown out and have your ass handed to you like against GA with this fool Miles travelling to Dallas to beg for a Cotton Spot ... the players knew it & played like losers, just like Miles. 12-0, what a pipe dream :dis:
  9. I said the games we played in even yrs were tough. I was just giving the ass hole a hard time. obviously something he cant handle lol

he needs that drink venice dog suggested. the whole fifth.

I might point out also that those three road games may not ALWAYS be "tough" football changes. c passole ass umes these 3 road games will always be tough. That isn't a pre-requiste.
  10. ( no kidding sherlock ) :dis:

again, YOU said HISTORY. What exactly does History have to do with the future?

You mean the tough road schedule, that wasn't a mystery. I posted that IF YOU"D USE YOUR SIMPLE READING SKILLS.

What is lost on you is that we also play road games in the ODD YEARS and there is no guarantee that Florida, UT or Auburn will be "tough" in the even years from now until history concludes.

    so GFY
