I think its a team with a good future ahead. Not upgrading the o-line got to them eventually, BUT getting the wide out talent got them to the playoffs and SB. Defense additions also helped but they have a ways to go. They have a good young core to build around. I'd rather be where they are right now than where the Saints are

Hopefully the Bengals don't draft Ed Ingram as their answer to protect Burrow.

They did for awhile, mostly because LA played it pretty straight and Cincy was able to double team Donald. The inside stunts are what really turned the game.

saw this on td from twitter:
    Jay Morrison
Ja’Marr Chase already was behind Jalen Ramsey on a go route when Ramsey fell on the fourth-and-1 game ender. If Burrow had a sliver more time …

I usually don't watch the NFL but because of the large amount of LSU players playing, I had to make an exception. What a game! I was rooting for Burrow and Chase, but I'm just as happy for Whitworth and OBJ. Not really a OBJ fan, but he seems like he's calmed down some. Barring an injury, I think it's a pretty good bet that Burrow and Chase will win a ring in the near future. Hopefully, Moss can also be a part of that team. I know he hasn't officially announced yet, but what a way to go out for Whitworth. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy and a better representative for LSU! Go off and enjoy your time with your family! You deserve it big guy!

Saw that. Bad play calling, imo. You know you haven't been able to block him all game, and you're calling deep routes on 4th and 1? Come on, no chance you'll have time to complete that.

According to some, Higgins was more likely the #1 in slot and he was getting mugged. No flags for the "visiting" team on far more questionable contact but boy they were flyin at the end for hometown favorite.

Refs at the end and some of the worst playcalling by a coach i have ever seen.

First drive you go for it on fourth down on your own end and give Rams short field.
You continuously call slow developing passes with an offenive line that couldnt block me and im 60 years old.
When you realize you cant protect burrow you do the same thing over and over expecting a different resut.

Not one let me repeat not one rollout called for burrow the entire game.

You choose your backup running back on 3rd and 1 when you have one of the best backs in the league in Mixon.

This game falls exactly on the incompetent playcalling and game management of the Bengals head coach and the Crooked NFL officials for making sure the rams won at the end.

And what kind of stupid SOB runs out of the sideline knowing it would be a penalty to cost his team field position on a late drive.

The Bengals Coach lost that game pure and simple. The game was too big for him.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over and over and expecting a different result.
