Or they are working out the many more details of moving the game to Tempe. Or they simply haven't made a decsion yet.
ASU announced days ago that they were ready to host the game, and ASU officials have been in Baton Rouge since yesterday, from what I've read. I think they're trying to announce hosting the game at TS and need to be ready to answer all questions.
The more this thing has progressed, the more it's very clear to me that she is NOT suited to run this state--or any crisis situation. Every interview, she looks like her composure is getting ready to flee; she looks teary-eyed and does NOT look like a symbol to rally around.....she wears the situation on her sleeve--a trait that you do NOT want in your leader. And I say all of this as someone who knows her and her husband fairly well. My uncle was a starter for Coach Blanco in the early '80's and I have met him many, many times and during 2 semesters spent at (then) USL, I went to him for my scheduling, etc.
I may be wrong but all these delays are telling me they are moving the game to Tempe or Shreveport. If the game was at TS it would seem like they would go ahead and say it since that how it has been scheduled all along.
I agree....sounds like if the game is decidedly not in TS, then they would announce that it wasn't early enough to give those that can make the game, time to get out to Tempe. If I'm making the call, it would seem to me at least, that I would come right out and say, "it's not in Baton Rouge" without any further delay.
At this point, I don't care... I am going to the game no matter what... If our university chooses to make the wrong decision, then I will waste their gas on the bus
They had an update on WAFB... There was a press conference at 2:30, but there will be another at 4:30 to make an announcement about the game. Steve Schneider said it is looking like it will be played in Arizona....NOTHING IS CONFIRMED yet though...
