McCluster got behind him because Peterson played the run. Chances are he will probably lose about 10 lbs practicing in the heat. I don't think he needs to be 220, 210 is really big for a corner. Either way, he would make one hell of a safety.
I got to listen to 10 min of 1210 today and Bubby had a media guy on and at WR he only talked about Armand - he looked that good!
I can't imagine he will be covering WR's Dexter McCluster's size. Dexter is 5'9" 172 lbs, so Patrick is 4 inches taller and 50 pounds heavier. Seeing as how most NFL WR's are about 6'0-6'4" and about 190-225 pounds, Patrick Peterson is a better fit to handle most NFL team's #1 WR.
Based on what I heard about Armand was that he looked very athletic but still very raw which leads me to believe he has some work to do to get on the field this year but he has plenty of time to do so. Boone is the speed guy who ran nice routes and had some issues catching the ball on day 1 but so do Randle last year. Probably the best ball skills of the bunch. Word out of the Afternoon session is that James Wright looked the most physically ready out of the bunch of incoming WRs. The best route runner and the general feeling is that he will be the best blocker out of the bunch. Fobbs looked good as well but needs to develop his body more before becoming a factor. My prediction is that it will come down to Boone and Wright for playing time this season.
Do you think Edwards will start opposite of Adams, because Adams seems like he has lockdown the starting role.
