    I've never felt good about getting a commit from Young although we could definitely use him. I sure hope he sees the light and becomes a Tiger.

    I don't feel good about him either, and I think below 50 % is about right. But as we know, things change.

    In addition to what you post above, I'm curious what you and @bhelmLSU feel our chances are w/a few other recruits still out there, like: MMcDowell, LCarter, DPrince, and if there are any other surprise ones to be looking out for? Getting close to NSD. Looking forward to seeing how this class rounds out.

    McDowell = 0 %
    Carter = 5 %
    Prince = 5 %

    The big one is Jackson. I give that a 30 % chance.

    I would put Carter and Adoree at 40% and all the rest at zero including Dwight.

    UGA boards are getting nervous about LSU.

    Adoree I have no clue who is leading out of LSU, USC, and UF.

    Dwight only has 3 votes total on 247sports, so to say LSU has 66.7 % is not saying much (2 of the 3 votes).

    After hearing Saban got him back into the fold, I would agree 0 % sounds about right.

    On Carter, bleacher report let the readers vote on where they think he will go:

    • Georgia
      59.3%
    • LSU
      17.3%
    • Florida State
      10.8%
    • Florida
      12.5%
    Total votes: 1,384

    That looks about right. FSU is the one to watch with the NSD surprise. Would be one of those "benefits" of winning an NC.

    I think FSU was eliminated once Pruitt left. He is at UGA now and Carter is on his visit there this weekend. UGA board mods are thinking LSU is the team to worry about. I agree with them.

    This is from an article by Paul Crewe over on ATVS. I

    Young visited LSU on Monday, January 27th. LSU reportedly canceled the visited of Texas LB Otaro Alaka for the weekend of January 24th and notified his coach that they were full at LB. Does that mean they are feeling more confident on Young? Or simply a sign that they believe other spots will be filled by an unexpected prospect or two? It's really hard to know at this point. There's been little said about his visit thus far, but Young himself did have this to say:."LSU is the bomb" (or something like that). - Paul Crewe

    I
    f all this is true, what does it mean? LSU is only taking two linebackers? The third LB is somebody out of the blue, or Kenny Young?

    I would put our chances at Carter and McDowell at a little less than zero(Hope I'm wrong). Kenny Young (IMO) is a probable and I've always felt good about Adoree Jackson. He hasn't played the recruiting game too much as far as I can tell because IMO he has known where he wants to go from the start. His only OV to a SEC school has been to LSU, so I wonder where the UF connection is?

    The one I'm concerned about is D. Clark. He said he is going to "announce" on signing day. He has already "committed" so why would he need to announce? Toshiro Davis flashbacks.

    Thus my description as NSD "surprise"

    Never underestimate what FSU does on NSD. They are the best at closing strong.

    I hope the GA boards are correct and that we are a legit contender for his services. I just don't think we've done enough work to get him here or even close.
