Just asking.... Does anyone have some real info on this? Did JJ really kick some guy in the head, etc? :crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Yes they were. Football was a lot more fun and the players could be regular guys have fun and do so without fear of U tube ambush.
Allegedly one of the victims was kicked in the head. We don't know who it was that allegedly kicked the guy, but obviously it wasnt Brad Wing. :yelwink2:
also.... does anyone know of the attorney michael bienvenu? and his reputation? according to rosetta, that is the attorney for the alleged victims.
And, yet, this gargantuan "fight" has not been found on YouTube. Something simply does not add up here.
He has no reason to have a need to protect himself, I wasn't there to say what he told them, but I highly doubt he told them to go ahead and have a good time on the town, after having them check in at their specified curfew. Probably expected them to let loose and have that good time before heading back in for curfew. Yes you're right they are supposed to be students first, emphasis on the student with a contract for a free education in exchange for playing football... in that contract there's a code of conduct that if broken can void said contract... most people understand that nothing good happens, especially at a bar at almost 2am. and while they should be allowed to be college students once in awhile, that does not include kicking people in the head. If you read one of the newer posted news links, it specifically states that while the individual has not yet been named, one LSU player did in fact kick someone in the head. Personal attacks? I never attacked you home boy, I merely made a few comments based on my opinion of you after one of your posts, whether those comments were polite or not, I didn't attack you, but might wanna take your advice, your comment could be construed as a threat.
stacey, a lot has not added up. now we have their attorney trying it in the press. now the bets are on how long before the civil suits are filed by the "victims". and i use that word loosely. because i am willing to bet this is no longer about a bar fight. this is about a payday.
It's a great question; here are the facts that I think are known · A number of players violated the curfew Thursday night - anywhere from 10 to 50 or more. · The players included the four names everyone knows plus other prominent members of the team including TBob Hebert · Many of the unity council members were in the group of curfew breakers · A fight started centered around a guy in a pickup and 4 people were injured enough to go to the hospital. 1 of the 4 was more serious than the others and he was allegedly kicked in the head. The police have said that a felony assault may be charged · The police want to talk to the 4 to hear their side of the story · Some witnesses said JJ did the kicking but we know nothing about the witnesses. They could be friends of the 'Kickee' or just faces in the crowd · Others say JJ was breaking up the fight · We really don't know absolutely what occurred leading up to and during the fight · everyone on both sides is lawyering up So very few hard facts but a lot of rumors. And Les Miles is pissed.
Well now I guess we hope there were as many members of the team there as possible. I'd guess they could all serve as witnesses to counter the "other" witnesses. Hooray for that whole discipline thing. Relax peeps, this will all work out.
