Doesn't Landry all ready have a broken foot? Stacey your Dad is correct. Curfew violation is usually a good teaching tool us fans seldom hear about. Kind of like missing class or being late to the facility. If there was not a fight and the players got "found out" (you would think a GA would hear about 20-30 large football players hanging out at the bars after curfew)... the coaches would have run them a lot and we probably would not be talking about it. But bad decisions sometimes put you in good position for bad things to happen. Leadership of this team allowed a bad decision to put at least 4 of these players in a horrible position. Some reports say that decision was to help a team mate out and risk getting in trouble or watching a team mate get beat up. No win situation and that sucks for the players. That being said, there has not been one report of a player being drunk or causing any problem other than the guy in the truck. And there are reports of the guy in the truck starting trouble. Time will tell...
TOTALLY depends on how you look at it. I've read others saying this means it's being swept. Maybe they found out something that they didn't know and that the "victims" are in it worse than the players. Maybe the players have been "proven" guilty by some video that has surfaced. Who knows?
not necessarily. the other side lawyered up pretty fast. if the players now have a lawyer and he has not had a chance to meet with them and get the full story from everyone the police want to interview, plus talk to some of the others there, it may be routine just to know what the hell happened from their point of view before letting them talk. that is my guess and speculation, but a good attorney will want to know what happened before he lets his clients talk.
Ya know, if the guy in the truck was a marine, this isn't unlikely. The majority of the Corps aren't afraid of a fight...
Lawyer just got onto the case this morning which is the reason it was postponed. They have no choice to lawyer up right now given the others have one and witnesses all over the place with there views.
Actually it's the smart thing to do especially since the plaintiffs lawyer'd up. Looking guilty is a much smaller problem than being found guilty would be.
