So the Unity Council are the team leaders? I misunderstood the situation, I was guessing everyone in the video was involved in the fight and they were apologizing for it.
I bet we see some new team leaders as part of the "changes" coming. The unity council appears to have been heavily represented in the curfew-breaking.
that t-bob was there is not good. he has already had a second chance. i would be surprised if he isnt suspended just for breaking curfew. he did everything right and got back into good graces so for him to pull a sneaking out stunt is strike two. i guess one way to look at this is oregon now has no idea who to watch film on.
Les Miles will do the right thing, regardless of the impact on the season, and much to the distress of some fans. Miles is a man of character, who is (rightfully) very disappointed with certain players on his team for their actions on Thursday night, and the aftermath. The thing that angers me is the fact that Miles has gone to bat for his team's play (read that Jefferson) the last 3 years, stood up for his players, and this is how they pay Miles back? They should be ashamed of themselves.

I say Miles orchestrated the whole thing just so that Oregon would be confused as to what to prepare for. Fooled everyone too!! Man he's a genius!!
The players are expected to have responsibility. They are adults. They know the difference between right and wrong. Sneaking out after curfew was wrong. No one forced them to do it. Miles can't be a babysitter. He, nor any other coach should have to sit in the hall and make sure the players are safe in their beds. There has to be an element of trust, and the players blew it--not Miles. Don't blame him. He was doing what he was supposed to do!:dis:
I'm clearly in the minority in my thinking that a bar fight is just kids being kids. Its just not that big of a deal to me. I know, I know...judgment, leadership blah blah blah At the end of the day it was just a bar fight. I know I'm gonna catch some flack for my views so fire away....
This absolutely falls on the players shoulders. 100% and I also take it as they made a decision and had no regard for the consequences. They weren't scared. Maybe they are now, I don't know I'm not there.
No flack at all, and I agree a bar fight is a bar fight, happens all the time no big deal. It is NOT supposed to happen with the entire LSU football team 2 weeks before the opener. Middle of summer, okay. After a big bowl win, yeah okay. My issue is with the lack of discipline and focus of this team. They clearly aren't thinking about waterfowl if they are out kicking the sh1t out of drunk jar heads at 2am.
