I certainly agree with the fact gathering process. It appears to me this is a team problem not just a hand full of players. Either that or it is getting buried as a team violation to keep single players from bearing the wrath of this mess. Until charges are filed or video pops up it will be one group accusing(witnesses at the bar) and one group denying(players who were there). It appears the whole team will be punished to send the message this will not be tolerated.
From in the video, it looks like Brandon Taylor, Sam Montgomery, Ryan Baker, and Josh D. This is more disappointing then I previously thought. So many key players, very upsetting if this is true.
Is this true, that Mett came in not in shape? Disappointing. He would have been stupid to not believe that at some point JJ would implode and he'd get his chance (of course with JL having something to say about his playing time). I did not have any thoughts of doom and gloom when I heard of JJ situation. Rather, I thought "starting job just opened up a little. Good.". I realize the feelings are always the same for our team at the beginning of the year but I especially think this and next year have the potential to be special. Of course, we've got to navigate through a murderous schedule. Please guys, no more screw-ups.
Well that is real nice coach. Had you worked real hard an Instituting discipline in the first place we wouldn't be here right now.
Well for what it's worth, those are the "Unity Council" members...not NECESSARILY who was involved in the fight.
I think this has the possibility to ultimately be positive. If they handle this adversity as a team, accept responsibility for the screw-up, recommit themselves to one another and let it bring them together, I think they may be way more focused when Sep 3 rolls around. Chip Kelly should be taking notes.
we can only hope. I'm hearing that this jarhead has some stuff on his fb page that may possibly shed some light on the situation. Anyone know what that is all about?
