He may have said that. The quote I saw said he admitted to being at Shady's for about half an hour and as soon as he saw a fight about to break out he left. I'd say at this point it's clear that is false. Even if he didn't actually kick anyone, there's too much evidence that says he was involved somehow in the fracas.
A lot of speculation, but I still have a hard time believing someone was physically thrown out of their truck. It's called a gas pedal, PROBLEM SOLVED
Correct and the lying, to whatever extent we want to label it, is simply not good and implies you're hiding something. What exactly is he hiding, we don't know yet.

I agree with you here, to save face they'll have to charge him. But with no prior criminal history, it'll be pleaded down and he'll see probation, community service and prolly get suspended for some games. But in my opinion there ain't a way in hell he does any jail time.
So there was a fight at a bar parking lot, the police are called, they file a police report, interview "key" witnesses, but never ask the bar owner or any bar employees? Way to GO BRPD! Best in the country!
After reading that story with the bars employees, I don't see anything they can do now. Bring that testimony, the guys credibility, his past indiscretions, and the fact he refused any medical at first, and all this is is nothing more than dood started a fight with the wrong guy.
The problem with all of this is that discrediting a witness or accuser is something that is done in court. I don't believe this would have any effect on the current investigation. **Note that I have no knowledge of the law, this is me just speculating. I have to imagine this is why the police denied the video that shows Lowery inside Shady's** If there is a match of the shoe-print on that guy's shirt with a shoe in JJ's collection, he will be arrested. And, let's face it. With 50 pairs of shoes, he has every shoe-print imaginable. It is up to the defense lawyer to point out that probably every football player had the same shoes as the ones that made the footprint.
Why didn't they say this to the responding officer the night of the fight? A week later and they want to talk? Cash is king...
