I would love for JJ to be cleared of this mess. Actually, I would love for all the players involved to be cleared of it. But, from what I am hearing today, it does not look too good for JJ. First thing his father said was: Jordan told me he was there in pajamas and slippers and he left the scene before the fight even started. From the video, we see a woman with a very good view of the altercation. Police say a woman says she definately saw JJ and Josh Johns kick a victem. Video shows two kicks. One from a guy in black and one from a guy in lighter clothes. I don't like where this is heaaded for JJ.
Seeing what has come to light... I dont see any way you let JJ or JJ play against Oregon. Looks like JL will be the starting QB on the 3rd.
A few notes from the police report: Jefferson was fingered by a witness as kicking Lowrey in the head. Lowrey later said he was forced by his dad to go to the hospital but didn't have any serious injuries. The guy in the truck, who was allegedly pulled out and beaten, yelled at the crowd because his truck was blocked in. The report doesn't say what he yelled. The report also says the guy in the truck said he had a gun, but the witness said she never saw a gun. The report only mentions two people allegedly attacked in the fight. Where do the other two come from? The plate number given for the black Silverado apparently isn't a valid plate. The number was provided by witnesses. What else did they get wrong? Interesting that the plate number given by a witness for the vehicle the LSU players allegedly fled in was a correct number.
thats a given now it seems. whats the collective iq of our qbs. its time les puts this on the back burner and prepares for life without these fellas. certainly without jj. les has to suspend him for simply being a distraction, regardless his innocence or guilt. gotta keep a low profile when breaking curfew. maybe his career is over here. sucks for all involved.
if he's guilty i hope he gets nailed, but food for thought--he may have tried to clean his shoes but it could take extraordinary measures to remove all the blood. all they really need is an impression match, though, and every shoe is unique. he may have gotten rid of the shoes but if its a pair given to the entire team theyll know they are missing (but it would still be a lack of evidence).
he had 50 pair--if he was smart. id hope nathan fischer advised him that his apt was going to be searched and losing one incriminating pair wouldnt hurt his kicks collection.
