Exactly!! And as per JJ, he was one of the 40+ that wasn't involved and should be considered one that is being punished with extra running from breaking curfew. You said those four players should be suspended for breaking curfew, which is it? If Miles truly believes JJ wasn't involved there is no way he suspends him, that wouldn't be fair to JJ or the rest of the team. Those were your words, not mine. Last comment I am making on the issue. I have confidence Miles will make the right decision. My whole point is that I hope he does in time to properly prepare the team for the Oregon game.
Too funny not to put on here............ LSU UPDATE-no charges are expected against Jordan Jefferson because he only completed 4 of 16 punches he threw and 2 of those were to the wrong person. (stolen from a friend)
on a side note, happy 21st birthday (today), jj. if the kid is innocent, what a piss poor helluva way to be spending it. :dis:
Jimmy Ott just said "unconfirmed" that based on the evidence collected that JJ will be arrested "very soon." His words, not mine. Would suck to celebrate the big 21 behind bars...
On a positive note, sounds like our endurance will be good against OUs fast pace offense. Again, I would like it if our O keeps them off the field to begin with. Regarding punishment, agree w/Casey. To play devil's advocate, if you were JJ, wouldn't you say you weren't involved in the mayhem and let it play out. If you are the dude w/a broken neck, and the guy walks b/c of inconclusive evidence, then starts for the football team at QB, that is pretty unfair. If it is clear JJ wasn't involved, then I agree he should be reprimanded only for the team rules violation, but if CLM thinks JJ was intimately involved and the charges are dropped simply b/c of inconclusive evidence, then I think CLM considers harsher punishment, possibly dismissal - although, that specifically might set him up for civil charges, I would think.
49 pairs of shoes?? He has even more shoes than I have!! Didn't think that was possible for a man... LSU keeps him pretty well-stocked, I imagine.
