ok, this may be a stretch, but.

even if you hear a voice saying jeff, and it means jefferson, and in jordan, not george, how do we know it is intended towards the person in the fight. if what some of the players, jj, and witnesses are saying is true, he was there off to the side because he pulled back when he saw a fight was about to go down. his story the whole time was he knew better than to get caught up in that ****. if intended towards jj, how do we know it wasnt someone basically saying "get out of here, we dont want to get caught up in this ****?"

even tho we heard a voice, we dont know where it was directed.

or, could be just the opposite. fb players as victims, take our sweet time. fb players as agressors, rush to justice.

    I thought players lived

On campus , so I guess JJ being that he pays his own rent , did not brake any team rules . Right ?? Must have a good parttime job .

In the Mett/ Montgomery case the suspect was arrested within hrs as he should have been. So far a week in and no arrests have been made in this incident. It has been very aggressively investigated and BRPD has spent waaay too much time in front of the camera, but I haven't seen a rush to judgement yet. Might be time to step back, take a deep breath and relax. I'm not happy with the investigation thus far, but there has definitely been no rush to judgement/justice.

I just don't get it. There must have been 50-100 people standing around watching. How can you not find a handful of spectators to identify the participants? I can understand sorting out who took the first punch and that sort of thing. However, to still not know whether JJ was home in his slippers or soccer kicking a guy in the parking lot is ridiculous.

I remember quite a few Tigerland fights back in the day and I don't ever remember it being a question of who was actually in it.

To me it seems like one of two things are happening to has caused such and in depth investigation:

    1. JJ had nothing to do with the fight. Victims and victims witness are claiming it was JJ. JJ is denying all involvement. Police have no hard evidence and conflicting eye witnesses. They are doing a thorough investigation into JJ to rule him out and keep it from looking shady.

    2. JJ has involved in the fight. JJ's lawyer has determined that there is not enough evidence and conflicting eye witnesses accounts won't be enough to convict him. Lawyers are advising him to deny everything and force the police to make the case. Cops are pretty confident that JJ was fighting but can not prove it with what they have so far. Therefore they are doing a thorough investigation to turn up more proof.

Not sure about job but most players that dont live in dorms get paid enough to live somewhere else. My son's checks at TCU were over $1000.00 per month 6 years ago.
