There's a difference between strength and endurance. LSU is plenty strong, as evidenced by controlling the LOS and getting pressure on the QB in the first half. Unfortunately, their endurance didn't match their strength.
we do. this prevent defense completely worn down our boys being on the field the entire time. i think its a non-issue as opposed to teppellini.
We sat near the tunnel, and every 5-6 plays, a diff guy was going in for an IV... We underestimated the heat
I miss that Saban guy bacause he had them running 26 110's weekly. Hey Les, how ridiculous does that sound today?
Not only that but not having a SET plan for the past month has hurt the team in their physical condition. ALSO like I said in another post the POWER THAT THE MIND HAS OVER THE BODY IS AMAZING! You can not count out the level of stress these players have had to endore. Bob Davie made a comment during the game, " He was talking to one of the coaches and the coach said that during the time of Katrina the measured a WEIGHT LOSS of 7 pounds per player. Due to both STRESS and Break from Normal routines.
MMMMM yeah it does it means you have not trained your body in the way it needs to be able to react to the conditions on the field.
I understand that BUT there are methods you can use in training to help your body not get to that point as quick as it seemed to happen to LSU players. Tenn players were playing in the same heat and humidity and there were no where near the cramp ups that we had.
