I give this game to the defense as well. They bent but they didnt break. One thing i will say is Auburn receivers are good at getting their arms extended just before the ball gets there. Wonder if they coach them to do that because looked like they did it all night. Davie thinks offensive interference is a good no call. I wouldnt want to be a d back in todays game. The offense is givin too much advantage.
wroten? landry? williams? prude? green? addai? jackson? any of them... shoot you could give it to the o-line... I think a lot of us TF'rs are way to kind to JR... we've come to expect such low things from him that his sidebar on the poll was, "he didnt give auburn the ball" I feel bad for him though, two dropped td passes, that sucks... his numbers coulda been much better, I have a serious problem voting for a guy that was below 50% up to the mid of the 4th quarter (I dunno what he finished with, that's just the last number I saw)
Skyler Green That punt return was beautiful and he kept several drives alive with those 7-8 yard screens. He also had a big gain on the reverse. I know we've said it a thousand times, but we really need to put the ball in his hands as much as possible. He's the closest thing we have to Reggie Bush.
damn straight!!! the line protects him as best as could be expected and he is way too inefficient. the OL was awesome, especially in pass protection. cox looked much better tonight than jr, and his protection wasnt as good. jr didnt turn it over, but i bet thats more a function of the protection. he didnt have to make too many decisions under pressure. i was pleased with jr's decisions to run/not to run. hopefully, jr was off on accuracy because of his hand.
He will also not let us blow anyone out with his act for playing down to his opponents... I love him to death, but he only seems to be going 100% when he has to... I know he is hurt an all, but damn... It is crazy how the offense moved so much better when we were losing and HAD to move it
