What an asshat, cost LSU scholarships and recruiting time https://www.espn.com/college-footba...-odell-beckham-jr-two-years-improper-payments
I think most of the penalties are coming from Funes’s embezzlement. Still boggles my mind how the university could have been expected to stop that when the hospital didn’t even know at the time, but this is 2020 after all.
you talking about the OBJ that took his helmet and shoes off and unbuckled his shoulder pads with 8 minutes left to play in Sunday's game? That asshat? Yep, he lost his mind years ago while with the Giants.
Remember the DB that gave up his redshirt in the SECCG because we were short on CB's? Said,"I play for the name on the side of my helmet, not the one on the back of my jersey." OBJ is all about himself.
So what is the concern/risk that if the NCAA Nazis hit WW and basketball we get a Loss of Institutional Control penalty? That could hammer us for years.
Won't affect recruiting. At the present time LSU only has 70 players on scholarship of the allowed 85. Right now the Tigers have 18 commitments for 2021 so there is no reason they can't sign 25 for 2021 and 2022
