I remember attending a ULL game back in the mid to late 90s and there was this red-headed basketball player for McNeese that was basically a mopup kinda player for them. Well everytime he touched the ball we would yell "Danny go start the bus" (Partridge Family reference). It was funny as hell.
When I was at McNeese, all I remember about the basketball games is the announcer yelling JOOOOOE DUUUUMARS when he'd score. He was a great guy and would come back to the neighborhoods to give back to the community when I was coaching in Lake Charles.
