For the game lefire:: FG (27-51)52%, 3s (9-21)43%, won the boards (32-25) and had more TOs (16-7). scoring off the TOs and hitting an insane 20-23 FT (87%) was key. I didn't hear entire game, but seemed that early on the defense was alllowing too much penetration, which will kill any type of defense no matter if its man, zone, or match-up. Brady switched to a 2-3 zone with 10 min to go in the 1st half and that helped turn the game around. JB used the 2-3 again at times in the 2nd half. According to Randy Rosetta's column this morning, Pierre/Treloar had a wresting match with Brady during the Arkansas game on switching to a zone. Maybe during yesterday's game they had to pin Brady down in order to make the switch. :hihi:
