I doubt it, and I doubt ole miss has any either. At this point they are playing for the more you win the warmer weather you play your bowl game in. I might not even watch.
i dont plan on watching and thats because of what i told you and i have something to do, but i count on you for updates lol
Neaux, and therein lies the misconception of my distaste for the way Miles runs the team. @red55 has a very solid point in that you can't just go firing coaches because they only won 10 games. Sometimes its not about the wins and losses and more about the method. Bottom line is I don't really want him fired at all. I want him to break whatever chains are holding him to his antiquated philosophy and quit relying on his defense to win games for him. He has the talent. He has had the talent and there are no indications that he won't have it in years to come. What he decides to do with it is another story. He can redline that ferrari or he can drive it like a murray lawn tractor.
That's a good question. The players say all the right things for public consumption but I have a feeling that there is major dissatisfaction among the team. Last week when Dural and Dupree tweeted #Free#6 and then deleted them they said it was a joke. No way that was a joke. And the way the O line has just fallen apart. Granted, the first 7 games were not against the likes of Alabama but they were opening big holes for Fournette to get past the line of scrimmage and into the secondary where he could do his magic. I can understand being out gameplanned and outmanned vs Bama but against Arkansas? 5 players who have been projected to play on Sunday one day didn't just lose their blocking skills and forget all the techniques they have been taught overnight.
You don't fire him. At least not a public firing. You allow him to resign and pay him. And you only do that if you have his replacement lined up. In Scott Rabalais article he said Les was coaching the last 2 games for his job. Scott knows more than he is saying but he isn't going to say everything he knows unless his sources are OK with it. That's the smart way to play it. When the shit hits the fan he will be the first to break the story.
