https://www.espn.com/college-footba...s-offense-completely-changed-thanks-joe-brady Per Espn writer Alex Scarborough Little snipit from the article... Ensminger, who was twice Brady's age and had more pro-style roots, was still going to be the playcaller, after all. To say the pairing was met with skepticism would have been an understatement. But Orgeron had a vision that went back to his time at USC when an older, wiser Norm Chow was the offensive coordinator calling plays while a younger Lane Kiffin supplied many of the more forward-thinking concepts. Orgeron still wanted to be 50-50 in terms of run vs. pass, but he didn't care whether it came out of the I-formation or a spread look anymore. Whatever it took to get athletes the ball in space, he said, "It's exactly what we want." And by doing so, by allowing Brady to bring his own blend of the RPO and West Coast offenses to LSU, those athletes have finally been put in space and set free.
Some birds are not meant to be caged. Their feathers are too bright. When they finally fly away the part of you that knew it was a sin to lock them up in a Les miles offense, does rejoice.
Brady will be the OC making 3 million a year starting next season. Thanks for the memories E. I guess.
Since he has yet to actually call games as an OC, I'm seeing more of a Co-OC title. He will continue his role from this year with a bit more say and E will be transitioned out after 2020.
Is that how it works at your job? Pretty sure Brady will be transitioning to an SEC rival next year instead.
Yes we all know no one anywhere in the world maybe even the galaxy hell even the universe can run the Saints offense other than Brady.
