Bama can't run the table as we eliminate that possibility one night in Nov. If LSU runs the table we will be 1 by a mile. The schedule & conf champ game overwhelms OU no matter what. :geauxtige

LSU will most likely come in at #3 after beating Oregon, unless we just flat out blow them out, then we could pass Bama as #2.

if we beat Oregon we move to #3. Our shot to move up wont come until either Bama or OU loses week 2 or when we beat Bama

    If Bama & OU both win - week 2, they stay 1 & 2

If we blow Oregon out, not saying it will happen, and JJ blows it up... I think we take #2... but that would require a cotton bowl showing.

Maybe, we slide into #2 and only by a few votes, that’s a big maybe. If we win ugly than hell no, they will just say that Oregon wasn’t what everyone thought they were. - Actually even if we beat Oregon, but struggle, they will say that what they saw in LSU is not enough to beat Alabama, I promise you. (Craig James)

But one thing is certain, the media is so wrapped around OU & Alabama's nuts right now it’s not even funny!

I honestly do NOT see what makes OU so scary! I don’t!

As for Alabama, they lost their QB, star RB, star WR...BIG SHOES TO FILL - and The #2 ranking is based on having good a RB in TR and having 9 returning starters on defense???...... the same defense that blew a 28 point lead at home to Auburn...... Im not sure what makes them so dominant, and then they have a HUGE ? at QB.

I’m just not sold on Alabama yet, I think if you put LSU & Alabama side by side, favor goes to LSU. - 9 times out of 10

but I guess you have to fill the slots on the rankings so why not give it to Stoops & Saban eh?

I agree, OU was touted pretty hard in '03 and we all know how that turned out... Bama does return a pretty decent defense, but we still won without a solid qb, and they had to have help from mallet to beat Arkansas.
I see us taking them in the polls when they see what we're about.

Yes he was. From a statistics stand point, Jefferson-Who?

But, for those that actually watched the game.....The Kid played lights out. That block on the D-Pete end around....very nice

Tyrann played lights out as well!

Julio got his on PP7: 10 catches 89 yards and 1td (Not sure who was covering on the TD) - it was the late one that made the game appear to be closer than it was :D
