No, it's not....but WTF is it with all these PRO COMBAT drastic sh*t anyways?!?!? Can't they just take whatever material/innovation in the fabric, etc. and simply MAKE OUR REGULAR UNIFORM for Christ's sake?!?! UGA's Pro Combat unis went over about as well as a turd in a punch bowl over here. Nike's Pro Combat series has produced but a HANDFULL of "special uniforms" that actually looked good. The rest? Futuristic garbage.
Knowing what the jerseys were supposed to represent made them understandable, but certainly not any better looking.
Terrible. Doesn't even look like LSU, and is highly reminiscent of those ugly duds that we wore against Tulane in 2007. I echo this sentiment very loudly. Why can't anyone bear to just leave well enough alone?
I like them for the most part. All white looks pretty good. I just don't like the stupid colored V-part on the front collar that Nike has been doing on all their jerseys this year. There's no reason for that. But I like how they respected our tradition enough not to mess too much with it. I like the classic gold color, they seemed to have gone retro on this one.
When we say gold at LSU we mean YELLOW. BRIGHT FRIGGIN' YELLOW hats and pants. Tweak the stripe, tweak the numbers, add faggy balllerina shoes, I don't care. But get it right. Yellow hats. Yellow pants. Period. This reminds me, we are going to have to watch Northwestern in the friggin' purple jerseys!
