I don't think the uniforms are bad. i don't really like what they did with the gloves. I would have prefered that the picture that the gloves make when you put the hands together looked more like the tiger's eye at midfield. They would have had to work on it some since Nike was obviously favoring the purple and neglecting the gold but they could have made it work.

EXACTLY what I was thinking. The eyes on the gloves is fine but the stripes on the gloves AND the stripes on the helmet make me think a zebra or a white tiger version of the bengals, who I don't want LSU to imitate.

Other than that though, this is the best Nike Pro Combat for LSU I've seen. Definitely could have been A LOT worse.

Oh I disagree! Georgia's was hiddeous, IMO! Looked like the XFL went to Athens.

One of my co-workers (UGA alum) summed it up best: "The only thing uglier than watching the team play, was having to look at those uniforms the entire time."

    I agree!

Didn't mind the white helmet and the "old gold" stripe. Didn't initially notice the tiger stripes though...when I first looked at it, I just thought it was shadows being cast on it. I didn't notice they were actually gray stripes until someone here pointed them out. Yuck!

    Dear Nike:

Thanks for the free uniforms and for selecting LSU as one of your "models"... Now just send us our standard batch of traditional uniforms that we've had for the past 3 decades. Okay? Thanks!

    Sincerely,
    LSU

P.S. Supa!! How the hell are you, man?!

Yeah I like the Navy pro combats, they kept it simple but different. They got anchors on the helmets as well.
