I disagree... You call a team as inconsistant as this and blown out back to back good? Record won't mean a thing if we make the tourney and get blown out by a team like MSU. There is no reason why this team shouldn't be competitive with teams like Vandy and MSU. I guess we'll know something after Saturday but it doesn't look good
Gumborue - should we call you Dr James Naismith instead? Have you seen any of the last three games. Its kind of hard to intrepret basketball by analyzing box scores. I will pose the question again. Who has LSU beat that is a quality opposition other than Florida? LSU is 1-3 against Top 30 that being Florida. It will be 1-4 after tonight. I see UAB at 37, Utah at 42, Georgia at 62, Tennesse at 70, Arkansas at 91. You want to call that quality.
They have 2 major injuries, playing one of the top teams in the country, at their house, after getting their asses handed to them this weekend. I did not say they were top 10 material, but they don't suck as bad as you seem to make them. They have won over 70% of their games. Hell, Kentucky has lost 5, are they SO BAD too.
Sorry but 70% against who? Centenary by 1 point? Sorry, I want this team to do good as much as anybody but If we're so dependant on Jaime what will we do next year to win at all? 1 or 2 players don't make a team.

Just because we would like to see LSU do their best and discuss LSU basketball in a reasonable manner does not mean we are LSU bandwagoners. It's people like you that want to sugar coat everything and make everything political correct that ruins the fun for everyone. Is it wrong to criticize LSU when they are playing bad. NO.
In Brady's defense, he did have 2 players quit. 2 players that could be getting significant minutes right now. Its pretty clear that we don't have any bench when we can only go 7 or 8 deep on a regular basis. On a separate note...our offense is really bad. Brady really needs to find a good asst who can coach offense equally as well as Brady can coach defense. Our motion offense may be the worst ever.
could only get the vandy game. what? i cant give my opinion because i dont live the south anymore? i do think the box score says a lot--often more than you can get from watching the game the two bama wins will carry a lot of weight too (top 20 rpi) i never said we had beaten any great teams, but we have beaten several ncaa tournament teams. besides how many great teams have we played? i'd say one. i dont think it makes a team bad if they get swept by the sec champs, top 5 team and possible no 1 ncaa tourney team.
