I hope Augustus comes back next year.

That will solidify this team returning as a potential championship team again and be a nice bridge to the really good freshman on this team making up the next great LSU womens team (Fowles, for instance).

It's all about the point guard next year for LSU. Johnson is so good and experienced that we've barely caught glimpses of the young guards in line to replace her.

    Hoston is a #2 guard I assume.

So who is the best heir to the throne at PG?

This team will still be well experienced with Augustus staying.

    C Fowles - Sophomore
    F Jones - Senior
    F Augustus - Senior
    SG Hoston - Senior
    PG ???? Chaney

Of course PG is most critical position I think.

Fowles will be vastly improved (if that even seems possible) next year. What a force inside she will be. I don't think we will have to rely on the PG to score as much as Johnson has done. Most of the our offense will go thru Augustus and Fowles.

I believe Erica White is in line to be the next point guard for LSU. Chaney is more of a spot up shooter.

    Erica White:

Yeah I thought maybe Chaney was a 2 guard as well.

Maybe we can make them believe she is Temeka. She is the same short height.

I would agree. But if that's the case, I hope we play better defense vs the Lady Vols than what we did in the SECCG.

I may be wrong, but I don't see too many underclassmen leaving for the WNBA.... I don't think the pay is that good to skip out on earning your degree

The problem is she already earned her degree early.

    So that's why the speculation.

I think if LSU wins it all, she may not come back.

I would be ok with that scenario.

Wasn't aware of that. ...well, in that case, if we win it all, I give her permission to leave. :thumb: ....but if not, I PRAY that she stays and tries for another one next year!
