That's had me wondering for some time, too, Dhead...this whole Brady thing seems just a tad bit TOO personal w/ TE.

There are some coaches who don't call a timeout in that situation with such little time on the clock. Some believe it's to their advantage not to allow the defense to set up. I'm not sure if I agree with it, but that appears to be Brady's philosophy. It's one of those situations that if it works, the coach is a genius ... if not, it's a bad decision.

But let's not forget that LSU didn't have a timeout at the end of regulation and Bass took the ball down court and tied the game. Even if we had a timeout, I don't think Brady would have used it in that situation. How many here would be saying he should have taken a TO, knowing Bass just tied the game?

As for Tack, I thought Joe Dean said it best ... he makes his coach and the opposing coach nervous. He makes great plays and terrible plays. Tack will probably give me a heart attack before his career is over!

With all that said, the last 7 seconds didn't cost us the game. We missed 2 FTs and couldn't secure the rebound off a missed UK FT when it counted. That has nothing to do with coaching.

    On to the NCAA Tourney...

we will go from a good team to a great team when tac realizes it is not all about tac. That final play was all about tac and trying to be a hero.

I think that Tack has the potential talent to take over a game by himself. He just needs to learn some discipline. That's what separates the Tack Minors of the world who have the potential to dominate a game from the Chris Jacksons
of the world who actually realize that potential. Chris could just take over a game and it would be so smooth, that before you knew it, he had led LSU to another win.

If you believe that than you didn't watch the same game as I did yesterday. Tac was good, the whole team played good. The TO issue isn't valid, there are 2 ways to go about that last play and you have about a 50% chance of either being successful. Calling a TO after crossing half court would have most likely set up a 30 foot shot by Tack as Mitchell and Hudson would have been covered like a blanket. So IMO that wouldn't have been the correct call.

Stated more correctly: To change the subject...
I have a cousin who says things like: "Not to be too curious, but how much did you pay for that?" My reply is usually "Well, that's being pretty f***ing curious."

"Not to change the subject" - said tongue in cheek. But that's okay, nobody really cares, do they.
