Hey tirk, been by campus lately?

Tiger Stadium contruction is coming along nicely. Have you see it recently? It's amazing how fast the structure is being built!

i dunno why you guys accept mediocrity. let me tell you a story:

a few years ago i did something on campus, maybe i was an intern in the sports dept or something. anyways, i came in contact with brady and the basketball players on occasion. to try and be cool i like to overstate how much i knew about the inside workings of the program. well anyways, during the course of my affiliation with the program, i acted like a jackass a lot, and of course that eventually got me called out a lot, and i was intellectually underpowered to respond, so i was basically humiliated by brady in some fashion that i deserved. so now i hate him personally and never stop talking about it. my reason for this is fourfold:

    1. i like to pretend to know more than ordinary fans, from "inside" sources.
    2. i have a personal axe to grind with brady.
    3. i like to brag that i give money to the TAF, and i foolishly believe this allows me to make demands of the program.
    4. i am a lunatic.

its not that simple, though. dale's 86 team wasnt the most talented. certainly villinova's and ncst's championship teams werent the most talented teams.

and even if you have great talent, you still need coaching to beat the other 5-10 teams with equally great talent. i still say experience is more important. obviously you need a lot of talent, but id pick the more experienced/less talented team often over talented/inexperienced team

not that simple but if you want to break it down into the most simplistic form, talent wins above all else. always will.

Kentucky is one of the better teams in the country, probably in the top 5. LSU took them to OT and yes, should have won. If LSU plays like that, they can play with anyone. You can't win them all. In hindsight, could things have been managed better? Should a TO have been called? Who the eff knows? But my initial, gut reaction to the loss was one of pride in the team, and anticipation of their performance in the Dance, not of pointing the finger of blame at someone. Like I've said, it's great to have a zero tolerance, no margin of error as a fan, but the real world doesn't work that way. We're all human beings and make mistakes. If coaches were hired and fired on the whims of fans, there would be total chaos and a virtually untenable situation.

Get some PR folks on the job to increase attendance, get Brady enrolled in some charm and speech classes, and human relation classes, but at this point there is not enough of a justification to make a change. He is getting good performance out of his players and he has good guys coming in next year.

i think you think far too much (of yourself).

the bottom line is you just think you know more than everyone else and don't know how to stop sharing your great wisdom. you're really totally unaware of what a complete a total jackass you come across as not to mention condescending and hypocritical as well.

Its not that no one wishes to discuss issues with you; its the fact you can't shut up long enough to adequately debate anything.

and of course you then resort to typical juvenile discourse or simply change the subject altogether.
