1. You know they are not on their level, just able to get one in every once in a while. As long as Nick's there this is reality.
  2. You should definitely take him out!

  3. Ole Miss beats LSU about once every ten years. Are you saying that LSU beats Bama about once every ten years?
  4. Kneejerk...Since 08 we beat Bama twice while OM has beaten us 3...

  5. Ive been one of the harshest critics of Miles and the staff but I disagree here. Historically yes, Bama is far greater than LSU. However right now LSU is right there with Bama(not so much this year). Its difficult though because the big difference is honestly based on coaching. Still, LSU should have won last year. I the coaches do their job and coach up the kids and Mett heals up. LSU can play them very close or win. I honestly dont see that, but its possible. LSU is the only team that can match Bama physically and athletically.

  6. Bama never loses to anyone according to their fans. They beat themselves in all their losses.

  7. LSU can beat Bama by doing what Furman did . . . play hard and capitalize on Bama mistakes. When LSU plays well, it plays very well and when it plays bad it plays very bad. LSU must play well on both sides of the line. Bama is not invincible and it is not mistake-free, especially this year. They play with confidence and LSU must take that away early. Bama has played a lot of cupcake opponents and has gone from respecting LSU and thinking the upcoming game is the season to . . . expecting LSU to be an automatic win.

If LSU can get ahead by throwing the ball well or taking advantage of turnovers and then staging long, 8-minute Furman-like drives that keeps the Bama offense off the field, LSU can win in Tuscaloosa. McCarron cannot score if he's standing on the sidelines.

  8. Furman had an 8 minute drive?

Have we hit a bottomless pit in which we strive to be like Furman now?

    Oh the humanity.

  9. Well, you can just moan and cry if that is your thing. I do not see any reason to give up on this team.

  10. I think that we have a pretty good shot at beating Bama. We have two weeks off to re-hash last year's defeat because we did not play the entire game with intensity. Add to that the first half of the game against Furman and I think that the coaches have something that they can hammer home with the team. Play your best for the entire game and Bama will go down.
