LSU is a lock for NCAA tournamaent because no #2 west seed has ever been denied entry

so we get knocked out in the first round.....hoooooray......bring on bobby knight and save this mess.......it's pathetic.......

 

people who say things with certainty that they cannot possibly know for certain are amusing.

the fact is you just cannot possibly know what you are talking about. why even bother?

you are like a guy who is "positive" a coin flip will be heads, and if he is right, acts like he is some magician afterwards.

Disagree. The committee will also take into account that we got a bye in the sec tournament. They will not use that against us. NO WAY. If we must win one game in the sec tourney, then because of the bye we have to beat a much better team than if we had actually done WORSE in the conference. NO WAY!!!

 

Remember guys, the committee doesn't have certain rules that they have to go by. They do have guidelines and tradition but they can and will do whatever they want and the meetings can be very intense. So none of us can say with certainty what is going to happen. There have been much better teams than LSU that have been left out and much worse teams that got in. And one thing that they will probably take into account is our record without Lloreda as that is the team that would go. I'd really love to sit in on one of those meetings one year, of course I would get thrown out becuase I wouldn't be able to keep my opinions to myself!!!

 

I'd prefer Jerry Tarkanian over BK anyday

islstl, stick to the BCS projections, as you have just taken away any credibility you had regarding basketball.

 

Ditto. After what happened this year at TTU, Bobby Knight would make LSU the laughingstock of college basketball.
