Fail. Alabama was ranked in the top 5 when LSU beat them in 2010 and 2011.

I don't see how anyone could want Pelini over John Chavis, Chavis is a championship caliber coach that has put more studs in the NFL than anyone I can think of, plus oversaw what was in my opinion one of the most dominating defenses in college football history. If LSU had its 07 offense in 2011, we would have skullfucked everyone including the Tide, easily. All we needed was a capable O. I'll take The Chief over any DC there is, hands down, wouldn't even need to think about it.

I'm confused...are you an LSU fan or a Bama fan?

Gotta admit. LSU games will have you standing in front of tv or in bleachers, for 3 out of 4 quarters.

Depends on which poll you are talking about in 2010. The BCS rankings had Bama at #6 going into that week. The Coaches had us at #5 as did the Harris. The computers were pulling the team down due to Florida and Arkansas sliding.

So? The thread subject compares wins over ranked opponents. Bama obviously was ranked when LSU beat them twice.

So? You're the one with the "Fail" comment. I'd say that's a bit overboard when it's not the exact truth, eh?
