As much as I love the colors purple and gold, I don't think that he would be as beautiful as a Bengal Tiger.

If DandyD is correct about the age of Mike VI, will a tiger this age be allowed into Tiger Stadium for the VT game? I only ask because awhile back after Mike V died we discussed the possibilites of a new tiger and someone pointed out that LSU or other institiutions had rules about this kind of thing. If I remember correctly the Tiger had to be a certain age or a gradual time period had to be set to allow the Tiger to adapt to the enviroment.

Is this way off base or does someone know any details about this?

i don't know but i was wondering that with a two year old tiger. it seems that until he gets used to his environment, ts could really be upsetting and overwhelming to him. i mean, it will be anyway the first time, but throw him in there before he is used to every thing else and it seems to me it could be pretty traumatic for him.

Yeah, I think so too Okie, I think he needs to get used to everything going on around him too.

Would it be fitting for the pre-game to be a dedicated memorial for Mike V? If Mike VI was brought out just for halftime he would get a taste of what is to come without having to "endure" a full evening of stress. In fact, the first season could be spent introducing him to the different activities associated with a game day piecemeal. It would be easier to manage his stress that way.
