I can still hear Richt crying to the press how they're not gonna get to play in the title game in 07 cause they didn't win their conference.

I guess a 10-win season is what was needed to keep his job and the program in a state of mediocrity. Sorry bulldog fans, but your guys don't have it.

Another week, another opposing fan joins... knowing they have a beat down coming so he has to bring up a game from years ago

Well I guess it's better than name calling like what some of the Arky fans did.

Tell me about it. It is what it is. I got cussed out on facebook by an arky fan, someone who I thought was a friend. "Delete" never felt so good. After the victory of course.

I don't know about the "...middle finger to Mark Richt" but I agree that Mett scores in the fourth.

If I'm not mistaken the 2005 SEC game was the last time LSU and UGA played so I wouldn't call it irrelevant. You are really going to blame a FRESHMAN UGA for losing to two top ten opponents at the beginning of the season? A team doesn't go on a ten game winning streak without improving and being a true SEC football team. Even the Georgia haters at ESPN say the Dawgs are not the same team they were at the beginning of the season. BTW South Carolina had Marcus Lattimore when they played us so check your facts next time. I saw what Alabama defense did to your mediocre offense so give me a break on the high scoring predictions. I also saw Trent Richardson rush for over 170 yards (nice rush defense) and they are just a one dimensional team on offense so you knew the rush was coming. These are facts people so dont get your panties in a wad. Yet again I believe LSU has the upper hand in this one but please dont act naive and give ridiculous scoring predictions.

If you want to talk about common opponents don't just look at one game that you like.

Here is a look at common opponents:

Ole Miss, LSU by 49, GA by 14
Miss St, LSU by 13, GA by 14
TN, LSU by 31, GA by 8
FL, LSU by 30, GA by 4
Kent, LSU by 28, GA by 9
AU LSU by 35, GA by 38

And you guys won in 05, but we won twice in 03 and took a crystal. Then another. No lingering wounds here.

    Where's your crystal? At Grandma's?

PS GA TECH RUSHED FOR 242!

In terms of Lattimore, I was talking about the rest of the season, not JUST the Georgia game.

Don't worry. After Saturday, LSU will be SEC champs on their way to the BCS title game, and we'll never hear from you again.

    Ok I'll bite,

What does 2005 have to do with 2011?

    Excuse for losing

You will find out how 'mediocre' our offense is. Btw, our offense averages around 40 points a game.

You have no one that could even come close to Trent Richardson.

By joining this forum to argue, it proves you're the only one who has his panties in a wad

This is an LSU message board. Don't come here and tell people what not to post.

    My prediction: 31-21 LSU

Leblanc, if you didn't mean Lattimore was out for the UGA game then why did you even mention it? It doesn't affect the argument whatsoever so what does it matter what happened later on in the season? It would actually make UGA look better to say that they lost their star player later in the year and they are still ranked #12 so nice stat. Darth, first of all where was this amazing offense in the Bama game? Not so easy to rack up points against stout defenses is it? Secondly, our line is the biggest in the country, NFL included (look it up), and we have Isiah Crowell and Richard Samuel coming back from injury so I would say we are fine on RBs and the running game. I brought up the Auburn game because it is a RECENT game UGA played (improving team here). If you watched the game UGA was up 35-7 in the half while LSU was 21-3. The Dawgs threw a total of two times in the second half and rushed every other play. UGA cruised in the second half, however the stats are what counts. So lets take a look.
    Final score UGA 45-Auburn 7
    Total offense UGA 528-Auburn 195
Total rush yards UGA 304-Aurburn 51
Total pass yards UGA 224-Aurburn 144

    Now LSU vs Auburn game.
    Final score LSU 45-Auburn 10
    Total offense LSU 393-Auburn 248
Total rush yards LSU 174-Auburn 87
Total passing yards LSU 219-Auburn 161

Seems like UGA got more yards in every category and our defense performed better in every category. You couldn't rush for 200 yards on Auburn and you think you can do it against the #2 rush defense? Get real Tigers.
