I do live in MS now. Can't turn the TV on without catching the old man's grandkids kicking tires. It's sad really. I miss Price Leblanc's "Dahlin!"
I guess time has passed me by. Has Price changed his signature line? When I lived in Baton Rouge, it was "And don't forget the country sausage....Daaaahhhlin".
I was in the People's Republic of Berkeley (NUCLEAR-FREE ZONE) last Saturday as the USC-Cal game was on the tube. There was NO blue & gold ANYWHERE (and I was up on Shattuck by the campus!!!) - not even on people! No T-shirts, hats, NOTHIN' !!!!!!! People out here generally care more about the Raiders or the 4th and Niners than college FB... ..and that's pretty sad... :dis: :dis: :dis:
Price is still slinging sausage. I was talking about Paw Paw's Camper City commercials in MS. Sorry for the confusion.
I had forgotten bout old Price! I haven't seen him on the tube the last few times I was in BR. Of course, I hear Leah Salsbury about 50 times on the radio when down there for a weekend. Instead of pressuring you, you think she's trying to annoy you into buying that new Dodge truck?!?
Price is still hawking cars and country sausage from his wheelchair...Dahlin. Whatever happened to that little blonde cutie who used to do all the Audubon Ford commercials. And Jan Simmons from 2une in. I loved her.
Good article but too bad he picked a year with such a weak home schedule and somewhat of a down year. Next year would have been the perfect year. Then again LSU football is LSU football. :geaux:
But don't you see??? He realized that a 'down' year at LSU is better than a 'great' year at cal. :thumb: :thumb:
